I'm using the remote command and it manages to connect to the machine & finds all the profiles because it lists off each profile and adds "The parameter is incorrect" to the end of it. chdir c:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools delprof /i delprof2 batch script /q /c:\\3i07-01 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-02 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-03 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-04 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-05 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-06 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-07 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-08 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-09 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-10 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-11 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-12 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-13 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-14 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-15 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-16 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-17 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-18 delprof /i /q /c:\\3i07-19 Any help would be appreciated! The computer lab machines can have upwards of 5-10 different people log into the machine each day. As time goes on, the local cache of user accounts fills up the small hard drives we have. We don't have money to upgrade so we need to find a way to delete the profiles monthly. In the past we have used delprof from microsoft delete user profile which worked great. The problem is that delprof doesn't work for windows 7. Does anyone have a way to delete a profile from a batch/powershell script? If you simple delete the files, you get an error the next time the user logs in. Thanks in advance windows-7 user-profile share|improve this question asked Oct 26 '10 at 19:49 Doltknuckle 64651527 Could you use a mandatory user profile, so that all changes are deleted when the user logs off, or do you need to retain data? –CarloBaldini Oct 26 '10 at 19:59 add a comment| 6 Answers 6 active oldest votes up vote 3 down vote accepted wmic path win32_userprofile where special!=true delete or the VBScript/PowerShell equivalent with the necessary WMI calls. The special parameter is redundant, since it will fail to delete special profiles (default profile, NetworkService, LocalService, etc.). If you log output, it will cut down on noise. share|improve this answer answered Oct 26 '10 at 20:11 songei2f 1,5141224 The real answer is "use WMI" to delete it. I even found a powershell way to do that here: stackoverflow.com/questions/3755741/… I tested this and it works, though now I need to write something up to delete users on a remote machine. –Doltknuckle Oct 27 '10 at 21:25 Understandable. I just think PoS sucks away resources in an unnecessary way. I also cannot be bothered, nor my lazy staff, to sig

We have configured the Citrix UPM policy to delete cached copies of profiles upon logoff. The policy is being picked up by the servers and the profiles are also being deleted as expected. However, there are stale SID entries leaving behind in registry hives for some users. The stale SID has a key with UPMProcessLogOffActive with the value set to 0. Because of this stale registry entries, the corresponding (Stale SID relevent)users are loaded with temporary profiles in their consecutive logins. We have this issue on almost all of the XenApp servers. Attached is the screenshot of the stale SID entry of an affecteduser. The consecutive login for the stale SID user has beenloaded with a temporary profile which has backed up h
