So heres my story. I was using my computer normally and i believe a "windows live update" poped up. I was in the middle of something, so i canceled, and it would pop up again every 5 minutes. So when i was done, it popped back up and i clicked update, then it restarted. When restarting it loads the first screen that tells like what your computer is, registry error 0x00000051 then it goes to the black screen that has the option of: starting it nomrally, last known good configuration, and safe mode, and others. I have had this problem before, and just have done "last known good configuration", and it has worked fine. But this time, i cant boot nomrally, last known good configuration, or even in safe mode. It takes me to the blue screen that says: REGISTRY ERROR "STOP 0x00000051". I have no idea what to do. I have read about re-installing windows and such, but i have never done that. And my hardrive has precious data that i would be extremely p**sed if i lost. So any help would be GREATLY appreciated for i am extremely p**sed off and my computer is my life.
