another installation of Windows with the correct permissions set on the folder in question. An easier way of doing this would be to just reset the permissions to that of the parent folder. A quick and easy tool can be used to achieve this:http://sunbelt-software.com/support/utils/inherit.exeDownload this application and place it on your desktop. You can then drag and drop the file or folder you intend to reset permissions on over the top of this application in order to reset the permissions for it.If done correctly, a prompt displaying the text OK will pop up. This indicates successful execution of the application. 4.1.3 to install on windows 7 edit error-1305 windows-7 installation common libreoffice-4.1.3 asked 2013-11-16 04:01:42 +0200 Matt7 16 ●1 ●1 ●1 updated 2015-11-06 04:26:42 +0200 Alex Kemp 10154 ●13 ●35 ●34 http://etmg.altervista... I've downloaded the installer package several times using up much of my bandwidth. Each time I try to install the Libreoffice 4.1.3 I get an error message: "error 1305.Error reading from file LibreOffice_4.1.3_Win_x86.msi Verify that the file exists and that you can access it." I've been doing some searching and found the recommendation to uninstall older versions. The latest one I had on this machine was LibreOffice 3.3. Perhaps foolishly I followed that recommendation and uninstalled the older version but still can get the new one to install. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. edit retag flag offensive close merge delete add a comment 3 answers Sort by » oldest newest most voted 0 answered 2013-11-16 04:38:22 +0200 Matt7 16 ●1 ●1 ●1 Something about the error message finally started me thinking the problem might lie in the location of the folder. On a whim I moved the installer file from the "Downloads" folder to my personal folder under "Users". The next attempt to install worked without hesitation. I suppose the problem must have been with "permissions" or some similar issue. edit flag offensive delete link more add a comment 0 answered 2013-11-16 14:59:30 +0200 L-user 2837 ●33 ●45 ●62 MSI 1305 is "file read problem", one of the most common is a file/folder permissions.
