Basically I pulled the battery out by accident at a bad time. I had windows 7 left the laptop on all night. It has always been slow but when I opened it it was very very slow. I saw a sign from AVG, with a window box saying AVGDIUX.. an error message. I made a mistake and pulled out the battery. Now when I switch it on it only goes to a start up registry windows 7 repair screen. It runs a check for problems, tells me it cannot fix it automatically and then offers to shut down the computer.
