According to the Quickbooks windows installer support site, it seemed the installation file I had for Quickbooks was damaged. To resolve this issue, try the following steps to install QuickBooks: Insert the QuickBooks CD and close the Autorun if/ when it begins. From the Start menu, select My Computer or Computer. Right-click on the CD-ROM that holds the CD and click Open. Find the QBooks folder and double-click to open.
