Problems installing Adobe Reader My problem started when I tried to update Adobe Reader. I received an installation error 1303. I was directed to a page that gave instructions for changing permissions, but the page only listed XP PRO and home edition, and VISTA. I have Windows 7. Adobe Reader does not show up in my list of programs in the control panel. I have tried downloading the file and then running it. I have tried the direct link. I cannot seem to get Adobe Reader back and working on my computer. I am frustrated, and I need to get this working ASAP. Can you please help me figure this out? I assume that there is a way to fix this without any questionable 3rd party tools.
