and text elements. I've saved successfully several times early on, but suddenly, every time I attempt to save, I get the message "A File I/O Error Has Occurred". Wasn't saving to a server, but to a 2-gig jump drive. When I saved it to my mac's hard drive, no problem. Is there a short answer to why that happens? Sometimes good software requires a new version of the program or downloading the updates on their website. As far as the File I/O error; could be a number of things: - Corrupted file - Hard drive sector is bad - Updates or Upgrade the software Just have to try and start from the beginning. out of range" The Cause: Incompatibility of settings between the version of Acrobat that created the pdf and the version of Acrobat that is being used to view the pdf The Solution: Go to preferences, go to "General" http://digitaltoolfactory.net/blog/2009/12/how-to-fix-the-adobe-acrobat-save-as-error/ and uncheck "Save As optimizes for Fast Web View" and see if that fixes the problem. So go to Edit-Preferences-Documents and then uncheck the “Save As optimizes for Fast Web View”. Than your problem is fixed!
