Do you have linked it to a DBMemo ? Using TTables/DBMemo doesn't work. You MUST use TQuery's in this case. If you need more info, feel free to ask. Good Luck ! Walcir Carsten Willems

This article is from Borland's Tips&TI's which is available in my site. Article #10307: BDE Error 000F Q. I'm getting BDE Error 000F. What does it mean? A. BDE Error 000F means the buffer manager run out of memory. Theoretically lots of things might cause this error. Increasing the BDE SHAREDMEMSIZE parameter in BDE Admin may solve the problem, or just delay http://www.delphigroups.info/2/fd/234834.html the error from occuring. In general, when this error occurs you must do less of something to make the error not occur. I had tried the same what u suggested but it didnt have any effect the http://www.delphipages.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11722 problem still persist. Do you have any idea ,the source of the BDE error $000F. Do i have to do a program to handle the same or is it related to backend issue? Or do i have to configure the cfg file? Ive set the SHAREDMEMSIZE TO 50000 I dotn think increasing it will solve the issue. Answer: BDE Error 000F usually indicates that the buffer http://greatdelphi.blogspot.com/2009/08/bde-error-000f.html manager ran out of memory, though there may be other causes for http://www.arrse.co.uk/community/threads/borland-database-engine-issue.70683/ this error. I looked it up and set SHAREDMEMSIZE to max along with all the other init params. Seems I still get it when loading certain records in a SQL qry object. Figure someone may have run into this before. Thanks, ghost_us, Oct 23, 2007 #1 UberSoldat I havent really used the database that much to be honest, I looked into the error and it states 'the buffer manager run out of memory'. what is your SQL query calling? how many records do you query? Perhaps you could try normalising your database to help it run more efficiently? Sorry, if what I have said, is no use UberSoldat, Oct 23, 2007 #2 IT_GEEK lol, I love this answer I found on the Delphi32 site faq regarding your error "In general, when this error occurs you must do less of something to make the error not occur. " IT_GEEK, Oct 23, 2007 #3 IT_GEEK But I did find this:- A possible cause of the infamous $000F error can also be the presence of (too) many MEMO (Blob) fields in the result set. I had this one using SQL 6.5 and BDE 5.1. Increasing blobs to cache, memory size for the BDE etc ... did not help. The matter was complicated because the effect of the error showed up in another non related task (which returned no records on a normal simple query-not embedded in a try ..except) whilst the actual origin of the error was in a running task. Altering the start sequence of both tasks made the error disappear for a while. Removing the Blobs from the select list in the query and moving them to a separate query in an 'OnAfterScroll' cured the problem.
