If not then, it seems you havent installed all nessacery files. You should read the Deployment.txt & BDEDEPLOY.TXT file that came with Delphi. www.bsc.com.pl/delphi/deploy.txt Also have a look here, http://www.delphipages.com/threads/thread.cfm?ID=58626&G=58623 HTML View Public Profile Send a private message to HTML Visit HTML's homepage! Thanks ps. although the error occurs, my program seems run correctly. what's worng??? Bill Todd Delphi Developer 2004-12-15 11:19:28 AM Re:Borland Database Engine (error $210D) That makes no sense. Does your program use the BDE? Search your hard drive and let me know if you have more than one copy of IDAPI32.DLL. Let me know the answers to these questions before you do anything else. To remove the BDE delete the BDE directory then delete the registry key in my last message. I do not recall if the D5 installer has an option to install the BDE only. If you go to ibinstall.defined.net and install the BDE information utility it will install the latest version of the BDE (5.2). -- Bill Todd (TeamB) TeamB cannot answer questions received via email bill Delphi Developer 2004-12-27 03:37:08 PM Re:Borland Database Engine (error $210D) Hi, Bill I also have the same Error message in WindowXP. Solved why do i get bde error $210D if my routine in COM DLL but it works fine as standalone app Posted on 2004-11-02 Delphi 1 Verified Solution 2 Comments 2,322 Views Last Modified: 2012-08-14 i'm trying to do some dBase restructuring with the BDE. can't put it in my main app because we are using a special bde replacement. when i compile this restructuring code into a standalone app, it works great. when i compile the same code into a COM automation DLL, i get bde error $210D (not enough memory). i know for sure that the bde is in use in this project (not the bde replacement)...something strange seems to be happening... it's almost like the memory allocation conflicts with the application's memory space but i don't know enough about the memory management of COM to make a good guess how to fix this. in a way, it's not too terrible because the standalone app works fine...but i wanted a nicer solution! thanks! mp 0 Question by:mikepj Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 22 Best Solution bymnasman from BDE support page http://www.bdesupport.com/errors.htm ==== Shared memory conflict ($210D) Problem: The BDE is trying to use a location in memory that is already in use by the operating system Go to Solution 2 Comments LVL 22 Overall: Level 22 Delphi 17 Message Accepted Solution by:mnasman2004-11-02 from BDE support page http://www.bdesupport.com/errors.htm ==== Shared memory
