The root cause of the issue, as identified by Jonathan in his comment, is a mismatch between the identity strings returned by two different cmdlets; Get-ActiveSyncDevice and Get-ActiveSyncDeviceStatistics. Checking for the Problem in Your Exchange Organization I've written this short script to check for the issue. $easdevices = @(Get-ActiveSyncDevice) foreach ($easdevice in $easdevices) { $easdevstats = Get-ActiveSyncDeviceStatistics $easdevice Write-Host $easdevice.UserDisplayName -NoNewLine if ($($easdevice.Identity.ToString()) -eq $($easdevstats.Identity.ToString())) { Write-Host -ForegroundColor Green " - IDs match" } else { Write-Host -ForegroundColor Red " - IDs don't match" Write-Host -ForegroundColor Yellow $easdevice.Identity Write-Host -ForegroundColor Yellow $easdevstats.Identity } } Copy that code into Notepad or your ISE and save it a

Looks like you are the official helper for the Samsung Galaxy III. Can you tell me how to empty my "full" mailbox. I have tried every which way and it still says that my mailbox is full when someone tries to leave a message. Thanks kindly. Reply Ian Matthews01-11-14 Hi M; 🙂 I do not understand the issue. Are you saying that your S3 says your mailbox is full? If so that is odd, all of the S3 accounts I have only keep a few weeks of mail on the S3 and older messages just fall off so I am never ‘full'. That being said I do not have any POP3 accounts so I suppose it is possible to fill your storage. If that is the case and you want to delete it all, I found a DELETE ALL option in the email menu: Reply Leave a Reply Click here to cancel reply. You will see this error when trying to remove an ActiveSync Device: To fix this, first enable ‘Advanced Features’ in ADUC: Then open the user’s properties and browse to the Security tab. Click ‘Advanced’ and then place a check in the box labeled ‘Include inheritable permissions from this object’s parent’. Click OK twice to apply. Wait for AD to replicate to your GC’s then retry the action in Exchange. It will now remove the device successfully. A remote wipe doesn't work anymore. Microsoft confirmed this bug but isn't willing to fix it. John Sneddon No Powershell? user has hit his maximum mobile device count on your Exchange server, but when you try to remove an unused device that hasn't synced in over a year, you get this error: ActiveSyncDevice removal fails with "The ActiveSyncDevice…cannot be found." If you look at the details of the error in the wizard, you'll notice that the ActiveSyncDevice ID includes the user's OrganizationalUnit. If you check the user's current OU, chances are very good that it doesn't match the ActiveSyncDevice. This means that the user object was moved to a different OU sometime after the sync partnership was established. Fortunately, you can still remove the device via PowerShell: Remove-ActiveSyncDevice -ID
