ArrayList cannot be resolved to a type? in Android Processing • https://forum.processing.org/topic/arraylist-cannot-be-resolved-to-a-type 2 years ago Hi, I'm working with some Processing http://www.anddev.org/other-coding-problems-f5/eclipse-error-arraylist-cannot-be-resolved-to-a-type-t6644.html code in Eclipse, and ArrayList does not seem to be recognized. Is there an alternative? Other Processing types like PShape and PFont work fine. And another thing; would I put files for fonts and vector images in the Android Project's assets cannot be folder? If it is the solution, remember that Processing, in the PDE, imports by default cannot be resolved lot of Java libraries. In Eclipse, you have to do it manually... (or using Eclipse's facilities: it can make the import statements itself, if asked). milespeyt.. Re: Re: ArrayList cannot be resolved to a type? 2 years ago Thanks, that answers it. Similar code using ArrayLists show that they import java.util.list which I cannot seem to do in eclipse as I get another error.Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, David Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]Syntax: [ Download ] [ Show ]Using java Syntax Highlighting package com.svdl.helloandroid; import android.app.Activity; import android.os.Bundle; import android.widget.ListView; import android.widget.EditText; import android.widget.ArrayAdapter; public class HelloAndroid extends Activity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ @Override public void onCreate(Bundle icicle) { //Inflate View setContentView(R.layout.main); // Get References to UI widgets ListView myListView = (ListView)findViewById(R.id.myListView); final EditText myEditText = (EditText)findViewById(R.id.myEditText); //Create the array list of to do items final ArrayList
