I have a Netapps filer with NDMP enabled and volumes defined. I've defined the Netapps as an NDMP host and the credentials are validated. But when I try to add this as a client, I receive the error 'cannot connect on socket (25)'. All the services, except for Device Manager are running. The netbackup server, the netapps, and a domain controller are in a seperate test vlan, part of the same domain. There are no firewalls active anywhere. I have added the Netapp under the firewall options in the Master and Media Server properties. I've already gone through the guides ( Configuring NDMP, Troubleshooting etc.) and have not found a solution.
