Psinfo Is Not Recognized
5x Win2k servers, single subnet, all PCs are joined to the domain and running Windows XP Pro. I have used the following command line to get the results I want.psinfo -c @pcs.txt "Physical Memory" > c:\compram.txtpcs.txt contains the list of pcs and servers that psinfo is to interegate. Some PCs (most actually) throw back psinfo access is denied an access is denied message as below.Could not connect to PC101:Access is denied.I tried sending the administrator username and password as follows: (password specified not actual password. for reference only)psinfo -c @pcs.txt -u administrator -p password "Physical Memory" > c:\compram.txtpsinfo -c @pcs.txt -u "administrator" -p "password" "Physical Memory" > c:\compram.txtpsinfo -c @pcs.txt -u domain\administrator -p password "Physical Memory" > c:\compram.txtpsinfo -c @pcs.txt -u "domain\administrator" -p "password" "Physical Memory" > c:\compram.txtNot sure if the user account that psinfo uses is one on the local pc. Im using the run program action and for a command I use: PSINFO -S I set it to run on a remote cannot connect computer, to copy the file locally and it gets some of the info and returns an error code 1. As the out put it writen to the log file there is an error. If I open a command window and run the same command it completes without error All I want to do is get a list of installed software on the server. I have scripts that read the logs and look for the software if it exists.
