My 10 month old Canon 400D has just started giving me CF Error messages all over the place. When I look through the viewfinder the auto focus doesn't work and "Err CF" flashes. The display doesn't always function, but when it does the display screen comes up with "Err CF - There is a problem with the CF card.Replace the CF Card" When I try and format the CF

card, it comes up with "Err 99" I've tried switching CF cards and I still get the same messages. I've even tried to save data from my PC onto the CF cards to makes sure they work and they do, so it seems to me it may be an electronic fault. The shutter will not release. I've tried switching lenses too as I've previously had Err 99 messages and this was cited as the potential problem, but this is different altogether. Has any else experienced this or similar. Its still under warranty so shouldn't be a hassle, but just annoying as it was working fine when I last used it a week ago!! Help! However, I am encountering a very annoying issue and searching on Google doesn't really narrow it down for me. Perhaps you can help me, there's enough experience on this board. To give you some more insight on the problem, I have to explain how I got my 400D.I bought it second-hand from an older lady who had to have a dslr http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=711521 camera, but after purchasing it, she realised it's too complicated for her and only used it on automatic during a trip through Italy. She shot aprox. 2200 images with the cam and when she came back, she brought it to a photo-shop to have it cleaned. So here's my problem: I can shoot like 100-150 images on a SanDisk Extreme III 8GB card and then I'm getting a "Problem with the CF-Card. Replace the CF-card" error. If I turn it off and on again, it usually allows me to shoot a couple of pics again. If I replace the battery, I can shoot another 50-100 pics before the error re-appears. When searching in Google, I encounter quite a lot of threads with a similar error, but they all report that they can't retrieve the images off the card. For me, this is not the case. I can download the images without any problem.I also checked the pins in the CF-slot, they're all present and none of them are bend. To check whether it could be the battery, I bought a new Canon Li-ion battery and the problem remains. I also bought a second SanDisk Extreme II
