I’ve had a 50d canon eos50d manual for the past 10 months but it is virtually brand new as I have
Canon Eos Rebel T3 Error 30
only had the opportunity to take about 300 shots with it. I started having problems with the shutter sticking/blocking, and Err 30 showing canon eos rebel error codes on the screen straight out of the box but it was only occasional and I would shut it off, remove the batteries as instructed. I thought it was just an electronic glitch that would go away canon eos 70d error codes with time or an update. Yes I know I should have returned immediately…Last weekend I was taking pictures in France and it just broke down completely - the most I could get out of it was 1 or 2 pictures at a time before the camera would freeze and error 30 would show up.I took it to the Canon repair center (independent repair shop) here in Switzerland for warranty work and they told me
Canon Error 30 Fix
it was just a chip/electronic issue and they would fix it. Is that true? In my inexperienced opinion it sounds more like a mechanical glitch by the way it sticks and the noise it makes. Anyway they are repairing it and it should take about 3 weeks. Does anyone have any experience or opinion on this? Is this a common problem with the 50d, and should I expect it to reoccur? If it does it again, what are my rights with canon, and what should I ask for?Does anyone know of a Canon program to exchange/upgrade to a 7d if it can’t be repaired?Well anyway, I’m a bit disappointed with this 50d especially because my wife just gave me a 17-55 that seemed so promising. (This correction has already been incorporated in the Version canon eos rebel 1.0.2 and later firmware.) Corrects a rare phenomenon in which busy blinks on the cameras display panel and the shutter cannot be released due to the timing of battery installation. Corrects a rare phenomenon in which Err 99 appears on the cameras display panel and LCD monitor and the shutter cannot be released due to the timing of pressing the shutter button.
