This Version Of Citrix Receiver Does Not Support Selected Encryption Windows 10
have been receiving this encryption error for a very long time starting back when we used XenDesktop 5.6 and receiver 3.4. It was even prior to 3.4, but I can't remember the exact version when it started. We've had a ticket open with Citrix for well over a year. The users get this error over and over at random times throughout the day. They can click ok and nothing happens.Citrix support had us upgrade and upgrade and upgrade.We upgradedevery component of our Citrix infrastructure, andnothing worked.We finally fixed it with this reg key... Here is the fix: Add HKLM\Software\Citrix\ICA Client Name: VdLoadUnLoadTimeOut Type: Reg_Dword Value: 60 I thought I'd write this out in case anyone else encounters this problem. I don't know what started the problem, but no one has received the errors since we added the key. It looks like it's just extending the timeout, but this key was nonexistent prior to this fix. I see other that have this problem that have uninstalled and reinstalled receiver and it fixed the issue and also some hotfix that may be available if you open a support ticket?Is there any other way to fix this error? It was working fine yesterday... so this came out of no where. No windows updates were done

Solved Citrix Receiver for Windows v.4.3 error 1046 Posted on 2015-09-02 Windows Server 2012 Citrix 1 Verified citrix receiver Solution 5 Comments 1,407 Views Last Modified: 2015-09-17 I have a customer who uses a 3rd party Citrix App. I have installed a new RDS server running Windows Server 2012 R2 for this customer. Apparently the software provided by the 3rd party is not compatible with Windows 8 or 2012. The software is Citrix On-line Plug-in. After a good run-around trying to get this version of the Citrix On-line Plug-in to work on the Windows 2012 R2 RDS server I gave up. To be honest it didn't work well on their Windows 2003 Terminal Server either. Some reading led me to Citrix Receiver v4.3. Here is my experience with it on the same server. 1. Ran the Receiver Cleanup Tool as Administrator to scrub out remnants of Citrix On-line Plug-in. Rebooted 2. Installed the Receiver v.4.3 as Administrator in Install mode, Rebooted. 3. Signed in as a regular user and was able to connect to the 3rd partys hosted Apps. I repeated the success 3 times. 4. Attempted to do the same as a different user and had it fail with the error: Citrix Receiver: This version of Citrix Receiver does not support encryption. Please contact your administrator.[Error 1046: The Virtual Driver is not loaded]. The failure is repeatable. 5. Signed in as my Administrator account and it worked fine both on the console and in an RDP session . I used the users credentials to the 3rd party App from step 4 ruling out issues with the users logon. I know the
