Solution 1 - Map .ica and .rad File Extensions The Application Mapping that allows .ica files to be executed by the .Net Framework might be removed inadvertently, possibly by propagating a change on the Default Web Site to all child nodes.If the citrix receiver received a corrupt ica file. the ica file has no application server section you verify the Application Configuration in Internet Information Services (IIS), then you can notice that the .ica and .rad application extensions are missing. You can reproduce this issue when changing the Session Timeout parameter in IIS at the default Web site level and when prompted for it, propagating the change to all child nodes. To resolve this issue, add the .ica and .rad application extensions to the mappings in application configuration for the affected Web Interface sites. Solution 2 - Repair Website Repair the Web site to resolve this issue. Repairing the Web site rebuilds these extensions. However, any customization are lost and must be restored from backup or reconfigured. Solution 3 - Upgrade Receiver Attempts to start a published application whose name contains a non-ASCII character might fail. Download and install the latest version of Citrix Receiver.Refer to CTX202488 - Error: "Citrix Receiver Received a Corrupt ICA File" on Receiver 4.3 with XenDesktop 7.6 for more information. Solution 4 - Configure Internet Explorer Reset client side Internet Explorer and then access StoreFront webpage to ensure that Citrix ICA client is successfully added to Internet Explorer browser add-ons. Clear browser cookies and local files. Add the Web Interface and NetScaler site to Trusted Sites. Solution 5 - Reset Receiver Click the Receiver icon in the taskbar > about > reset Receiver
