a relatively random issue with no real answers back to 2000 though. Recently I upgraded to a 24" monitor with 19"s to ultravnc command line install the side, new video drivers, and UltraVNC 1053 from an older 103 version I believe on Vista32. Now when I try to connect via remote all I get is the error msg of"error creating local image of screen" ultravnc server settings and the connection dies. I am able to Java in via port 5800 but this is not as convenient. Any ideas? Thank you. alister Posts: 2Joined: 2008-11-13 15:29 Top Re: error creating local image of screen by alister » 2009-03-11 15:41 Not an answer, but a solution... I switched to RealVNC on server and client and everything works fine. alister Posts: 2Joined: 2008-11-13 15:29 Top Re: error creating local image of screen by tornadokat
