From the error message that is more likely then the region code. Edit 2: Were you able to play DVDs before you installed Nero 8? My OS is XP Pro, and I'm trying to play a DVD thru Windows Media Player. The first error message I received had to do with the fact that I did not have a DVD decoder installed. After a little research, I installed the K-Lite Codec Pack and it is recognized properly. However, when I tried again to play the DVD, I get t
