This morning, my computer froze at the boot screen (screen with the windows flag on it). The little loading circle kept spinning, and even after letting it run for one hour, it still won't boot. Since I am currently booted into Safe Mode with Networking, I know that my computer can be restored. I then checked Event Viewer. One error in Windows Logs > System was this: DCOM got error "1084" attempting to start the service WSearch with arguments "Unavailable" in order to run the server: {9E175B68-F52A-11D8-B9A5-505054503030} So, according to the question that this forum asks, am I infected? Thanks for all your help beforehand! Edited by Etng03, 08 August 2013 - 09:22 AM.
