Symptom Unable to add http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21345465 a Jobserver: The component or application containing the component has been disabled. Resolving the problem Setup DCOM Security (Distributed Component Object Model) on the Jobserver which fails to add. Steps:1. Select Start and then Run and type dcomcnfg. 2. Expand Component Services, expand Computers and right-click My Computer and select Properties. 3. Select COM Security and select Edit dcom got Default under Access Permissions and add the following groups: Administrators, Interactive, System, IUSR and IWAM 4. Select Edit Default under Launch Permissions and add the following groups: Administrators, Interactive, System, IUSR and IWAM 5. Select Okay to return to main window. 6. Reboot the server to have the modifications take affect. If error persists and the server is dcom got error a Windows 2003 server: COM+ (Component Object Model) network access is disabled by default on Windows Server 2003 platforms. On this platform COM+ can be used only locally by default. Use the following procedure to enable Network COM+ access. 1. From the Start menu, select Control Panel and select Add or Remove Programs. 2. Select Add/Remove Windows Components. 3. Select Application Server and select Details. 4.
