It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service. Dcom Got Error When Attempting To Activate The Server
vote I have SBS 2008 Prem SP2 (comp1)running on Hyper-V and Server 2008 Std (comp2)also running on Hyper-V. On the SBS I http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php/189193-WinMgmt-exe-Problems-I-need-help! have the following event: Event 10006, DistributedCOM DCOM got error 2147944122 from the computer comp1.[domain].local when attempting to activate the server 8bc3f05e-... Source: DistributedCOM Computer: comp1.[domain].local I did not find the ID 8bc3f on the SBS but on comp2 in the registry which says https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/0d8335f6-99a2-4f88-b8e2-b63520d4e861/event-10006?forum=smallbusinessserver (Default) Windows Management and Instrumentation LocalService winmgmt I did go through many posts but it seems 10006 is a rather generic error and I was not able to pinpoint the issue yet. Any help is appreciated.
