Some common things that I found that did NOT fix it:- Running as Admin- Changing to compatability mode (all of them)- Installing Direct X version 9.0c (done several times)- The DSVideoConfig fix- Editing the .ini files- Updating my graphics card driver to the latest version.- Getting video codec packages (not even sure why this'd help)I have scoured the net for an answer, and I wouldn't doubt that it is as simple as pie. You can look down on me all you want, think I'm the stupidest man on the planet, but if you help me find a fix I will still be grateful.OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit (6.1, Build 7601)GPU - Nv

For some reason, when i get up from my computer and leave it alone for a few minutes (eg, i get up to use the restroom, go get food, or leave it on overnight to download a game) or when i restart my pc from stand by mode it simply freezes. I've checked for viruses using AVAST (don't have any), have used CCleaner to repair the registry, and allow spyware terminator to run daily to check for spyware, yet the computer continues to freeze. I'm not sure if it may be softare or hardware issue. would someone be able to help me fix this issue.
