out and it seemed to fix a lot of peoples ipods, mine remains corrupt, and error 1437 itunes when i try to restore i get the same error as i did with the earlier version, 7.7."An unknown error has occurred error 1437 when restoring ipod (1437)"- the error i receive when i try to restore my ipod.help please? Unplug your iPod from the computer. Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and find iTunes on that list. https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/68985/Error+1437 Remove it. Reboot your computer. If you can download iTunes from the Apple website or if you have, install it from CD. Plug your iPod in and see what it does. Worst case scenario is that you lose your library.
