(this post is not about my morals, haha). Anyway, I took it hope plugged it in and heard a clicking noise, the ipod would not start. I found online that I should hit the ipod against my palm to fix it, which it did. I then plugged the ipod into my laptop (win xp). (Note: I have already checked the warranty on it, nothing) I got an error message saying the ipod was corrupt and needed to be restored. When I chose to restore it I got an error saying that it could not be restored (error 1437). I have tried several times, in different usb ports and nothing works. There is no "iPod" drive in my computer when I connect it to my laptop, all that reads is "removable disk E:" If anyone knows anything that I havent tried that could work please fill me in! I heard that it may work to open the ipod to disconnect and reconnect the battery? It could be the hard drive, im just not sure. would hate to see this thing go t
