This discussion is locked xfskater Level 1 (0 points) Q: error 1437 STILL Well, before, I had installed itunes v7.7, and like a lot of users, their ipod became corrupt.well 7.7.1 ipod shuffle error 1437 came out and it seemed to fix a lot of peoples ipods, mine remains corrupt, ipod error 1437 solution and when i try to restore i get the same error as i did with the earlier version, 7.7."An unknown error has error 1437 ipod could not restored occurred (1437)"- the error i receive when i try to restore my ipod.help please? Unplug your iPod from the computer. Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and find iTunes on that list. Remove it. Reboot your computer. If you can download iTunes from the Apple website or if you have, install it from CD. Plug your iPod in and see what it does. Worst case scenario is that you lose your library.
