I've tried various combinations to my home/download/file.sql and none work. I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 as localhost. Any suggestions please? Secondly, I think that the sql process might not have read access to your home directory anyway. In which case, you might have to copy the sql file to /tmp and tell mysql to source from /tmp/rustic.sql. If you are getting database connection errors, this means means that a program running on your site is not able to communicate with the MySQL database service to retrieve data. There are two main reasons for getting this error, either the program itself is not connecting properly due to login credentials mismatch from the program's configuration files, or the MySQL service is currently not running on the server. I recommend reading our article on database connection errors, which provides more information on troubleshooting this issue.
