Bandwidth: Total number of bytes for pages, images and files downloaded by web browsing. Note 1: Of course, this number includes only traffic for web only (or mail only, or ftp only depending on value of LogType). Note 2: This number does not include technical header data size used inside the HTTP or HTTPS protocol or by protocols at a lower level (TCP, IP...). Because of two previous notes, this number is often lower than bandwith reported by your provider (your provider counts in most cases bandwitdh at a lower level and includes all IP and UDP traffic). With ASSP I get an overall idea of my traffic and can see the logs there but it would be nice to see in a grid like that senders/receivers and errors. Would also be helpful when answer other https://www.hmailserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1383 users questions on here about how HMail handles in regards to traffic volume because we (I) could see what my traffic really is. Created a test log and was able to get awstats to parse it. I'm thinking on how the log should be produced. Modifying the current log format is probably a bad idéa, since that would reduce the amount of information in the log, which feels stupid. Perhaps it would be a better idéa to add a checkbox on the logging page named "Enable AWStats log". If you check this, hMailServer will create a log file with a fixed name (hmailserver_awstats.log) which awstats records will be written to. So when you want to update your statistics, you take a copy of the file, delete the original, parse the statistics in the copy, and then delete the copy. Or anyone got a better suggestion? I get an error when I try to 'Update' from the web, even though the cron job runs fine. In the web version I keep receiving the Error: Command for pipe 'perl /usr/share/doc/awstats/examples/maillogconvert.pl standard < /var/log/mail.log |' failed Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.smtp.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).when trying to do an Update.
