hear the guys voice " Copyright bally gaming inc all rights reserved" , Then all the button lights start flashing, and thats all it will do, And it shows the numbers 8178 in the win paid window.So I press the reset button, and the number goes to 8179. I press it again and then it goes to 817a, Press it again 817b, bally pinball troubleshooting press it again 817d,press it again 817e. I press the reset button one more time, The display goes back to normal, the reels spin up, Shut the door and then it plays normal. Just curious if anyone could tell me what would be causing this? See if the battery on the mpu is low and replace it, then see if the board is seated properly. If you have the knowledge, do a full clear also. And also check that the reset switch (white button) is not stuck in the closed position. It is on a machine that I recently sold that is having the problem.I have another board that I wanted to find out if it was good or not, and tried to check it out on the machine mentioned above sometime before I sold the machine. I did a ram clear and it showed that it was okay, but when I put the game chips in to the board and tried to play the machine, lights flashed and the game did not work. I only mentioned this because of the earlier reply when I was asked if the lights and buttons flashed. Is there something else that would need to be done when this happens? I would just like to know, before I go over to try to do the ram clear on the machine
