About 18 months ago he decided he wanted more RAM in it so he got some from "somebody" and tried to put it in. He could not get it in or something and brought the machine to me with no RAM in it. I am NOT a computer geek so I dove right in and tried to put in the stick he handed me. There are white slots and black slots on the board, I think it was two of each. The stick would not fit the white, so I put it in the black and hooked up a monitor and mouse and plugged it in. I get a long beep and three short ones and then a long beep. Should I try to buy the right RAM for it or is something else shot? JB Post a reply Discussion is locked Flag Permalink You are posting a reply to: Beep Cod
