DJacobsFrom: Mandeville, LA USAPosts:11Member Since:06/20/07 posted November 9, 2007 11:53 AMOK I rebuilt the package and left the msvcrt.dll out of the package and the install completed successfully. But the application doesn't run on the new computer.I get a Run-Time error '11102'An error occured while performing a File I/O operation.I get this error when I try to download a file from my ftp server.and by the way HELLO.... anyone out there....I'm the only one talking here.noone has said anything on the forum yet except me... ;)Oh quit you're blabbing... ;) TonyPriest From: Utica, NY USAPosts:8466Member Since:04/11/00 posted November 9, 2007 12:56 PMThe components are compiled with Visual C++. That is the reason why it is detected as a dependency. However, you really shouldn't distrubute that as it's part of the OS and will always be in use and should always be there anyway. In regards to the 11102 error, what operating system is the problem machine? DJacobsFrom: Mandeville, LA USAPosts:11Member Since:06/20/07 posted November 9, 2007 2:30 PMBoth my development machine and the test install machine are both XP pro... I have taken the msvcrt.dll out of the package install set and still get this same error. So I have an "550 : Access is denied" message. How to can I set filezilla to works in this case ? sorry for my english Top Profile Reply with quote http://support.dart.com/postings?topicid=7638 bfeucht Post subject: PostPosted: 2004-11-03 01:22 Offline 500 Command not understood Joined: 2004-10-29 01:17 Posts: 4 My assumption is you are getting the 550 error because Filezilla is trying to get a directory listing. Is there a way you can adjust the server to return a blank directory listing or limited directory listing? I know that the error is due to this restriction. My FTP server is the standard Microsoft IIs server and I don't know some setting to return a blank directory. But some other ftp clients are well working (like leechftp, cuteftp, ...) in the same configuration. So why FileZilla blocks the upload if it don't have a normally return ? (See transfer menu) That should work on servers which do not allow directory listings. If not, please post a complete log of a session with enabled debug information, which can be enabled on the debug page in the settings dialog. This post was updated with steps https://www.compuvate.com/filezilla-failed-directory-listing/ you can follow to fix the error other than just downgrading Filezilla. https://sourceforge.net/p/proftp/mailman/message/31728598/ You can still use version 3.10.0.1 and above if you're still having the Filezilla failed to retrieve directory listing error. See update in the second section below. On January 12, 2015 - FileZilla Client 3.10.0.1 was released. Good news right? Well not so good as you may have encountered issues error codes with the new "FileZilla Bug Version" as I called it.In my own case, FileZilla was working fine like a charm until I decided to go new. I love updates! I love to know that I'm up to date with everything especially applications in my computer. So, I updated my FileZilla to the new version 3.10.0.1.This update rewarded me with the FileZilla ftp error 11102 failed to retrieve directory listing error. When I tried to connect, I got the error; "Failed to retrieve directory listing" as you can see in the image below.I wasted precious time reading FileZilla's documentation on almost everything that has to do with connection and configuration, NO SUCCESS AT ALL!To fix the FileZilla Failed to retrieve directory listing error, this is what I did:I downgraded to FileZilla version 3.9.0.6. I simply uninstalled version 3.10.0.1 and reinstalled version 3.9.0.6 and that's it, all was working again like charm as you can see in the image below. So, if you too have encountered the same problem which I think will be the reason why you're reading this, simply reinstall or downgrade to version 3.9.0.6. During the installation, ensure you select "Add/Remove/Re-installed components" in the installation screen/dialog box as shown in the image below. All your previous setting will remain the same. They did in my case.If you don't have the setup file for FileZilla version 3.9.0.6, you can download it here.UPDATE: - Still want to use FileZilla v3.10.0.1 and above? See steps below. This update is
