I have a Motorola Spectra VHF with the remote A9 head. The problem is when I turn the radio on, it says "error 8/10" which means theres something wrong with the PA board. When I shut the radio off and turn it back on, I get "fail 1/90" (serial bus faliure). The PA board does have a couple blown diodes for some error codes reason, but does anyone know if this radio can work without the PA board??? Would it fix the problem if I re-program it? Please help! But you'll have to fix the fail 01/90 motorola apx 6000 error first. It means the control head is not talking to the radio. There are plenty of stupid reasons why this could be, like power to the head, and not to the radio. Are you sure everything is hooked up correctly? __________________ RIP... The best case scenario is that Fail 08/10 is just the missing external accessory (VRS, siren, etc.) that the software is looking for, and Fail 01/90 is a power fault. Green wire and the Red power wire go to the same point (Battery), Orange to a switched point or the same point as the Green wire, and of course, Black to Ground. Let us know. « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Thread Tools Show Printable Version Email this Page Display Modes Linear Mode Switch to Hybrid Mode Switch to Threaded Mode Search this Thread Advanced Search Posting Rules You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts BB code is On Smilies are On [IMG] code is On HTML code is OffTrackbacks are On Pingbacks are
