Edit: It's under Secure Configuration , under Radio Configuration. __________________ Hams Against Magnetic Mounts Last edited by rescue161; 12-09-2011 at 7:00 AM.. #3 (permalink) 12-09-2011, 8:12 AM dial912 Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Posts: 3 motorola fail 01/90 Yup, 161 is correct. In these cases the radio will attempt to display the appropriate error code, generate an illegal mode tone for one second and then reset its microcontroller. At power-up, the radio performs cursory tests to determine if its basic electronics and software are in working order. Problems detected during these tests are presented as error codes on the radio display. The presence of an error code should prompt the user that a problem exists and that a service technician should be contacted. Self-test errors are classified as either fatal or non-fatal. Fatal errors will inhibit user operation, while non-fatal errors will not. Use Table 11 to aid in understanding particular power-up error code displays.
