The BIOS indicates errors by writing an error code to the PS/2-standard logging area in the Extended BIOS Data Area, and by displaying a message on the screen, which is sometimes preceded by the POST Error Code. The error code will also be logged to the Event Logging area. Table 5-2 is an alphabetic list of error and status messages that BIOS generates and an explanation of each message. Many of the messages refer to the built in Setup program. For more information about Setup, refer to the Configuring Your System chapter. 5-19 Problem Solving Previous page Next page 1...115116117118119 Related Manuals for NEC LE2200 Server NEC LS2400 User Manual (186 pages) Server NEC LC1400 Service & Reference Manual (243 pages) Server NEC UNIVERGE SV9100 Programming Manual (214 pages) Server NEC Univerge SV8100 System Maintenance Manual (78 pages) Server NEC NEAX 2000 IPS Configuration Manual Nec electronics america server user manual (96 pages) Server NEC SV8300 Manual (54 pages) Server NEC UNIVERGE SV8100 User Manual Nec electronics america server user manual (52 pages) Server NEC N8100-958F User Manual Express5800/120re-1 (346 p
