each of the error codes and explain what needs to be done to get the problem resolved.Blinking "Err" messageWhen you see a blinking "Err" message on the back or top LCD, it means that there is some sort of camera malfunction. It does not necessarily mean that the camera is bad though. This error shows up fairly frequently on new Nikon DSLR cameras that have oily contacts from the manufacturing process, which nikon d7000 error codes you can easily take care of yourself. All you need to do is dismount your lens, then use a clean cloth to clean contacts both on the lens and DSLR. If you want to find out how to do it in details, check out my "How to fix blinking ERR error on new Nikon DSLR cameras" article.If you have tried cleaning the contacts and the problem did not go away, try taking the camera battery out and putting it back in. If the problem persists, contact Nikon for further support - your camera might be damaged.Blinking "fEE" messageThis error only shows up when you use an older lens such as Nikon 50mm f/1.4D with an aperture ring and the lens aperture is not set to the minimum aperture. When you change lenses, you might accidentally rotate the aperture ring on the lens, which would trigger the error. The solution is to set the lens aperture to the largest f-number (minimum aperture) such as f/16 and lock it in place so that the aperture ring does not accidentally get changed again. D200, the camera froze up, I could not review my pictures or take another one, it showed error nikon d610 err on top lcd, I removed the batteries reinstalled them, same thing happened, finally I was able make a shot and the message cleared. DX SLR (D500, D300, D200, D100) TalkChange forum The dreaded CF "CHA" "OH NO" on my D200 Started May 29, 2006 | Discussions thread Shop cameras & lenses ▾ ForumParentFirstPreviousNextFlat view Opticalstar • Regular Member • Posts: 107 The dreaded CF "CHA" "OH NO" on my D200 May 29, 2006 https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/18624462 My D200 is displaying this "CHA" error and now a Can't take pictures with mycamera, I was using a scandisk extreme CF III 4.0 GB card at the time the problem happened.The card was "FULL" so https://support.nikonusa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2605/~/what-does-the-fee-or-f---error-message-displayed-on-an-slr-camera-mean%3F I swaped it for my Kingston 512 MB card which I had as a spare, on inserting the Kingston card I recieved the "CHA" error, I got a surprise when this happened as I had error codes been using the smaller card before I bought the 4.0 GB Extreme card.So, I decided to put the Extreme 4.0 GB CF card back into the D200 and delete some existing photos to make space for the new shot I wanted to take.I got an even bigger surprise when it to gave me the "CHA" on the D200,so now I have two CF cards that do not operate with my D200, both nikon d200 error of which used to work with my D200.I went home and placed my CF card into my Dell A50x PDA and I got all of the photos I had takenl off the 4.0 CF CF card on to the the hard drive of my PC, no problems there thank goodness.I have tried reformating the CF card using the D200, but this does not change a thing, I have tried doing this several times, but no joy.What next, well I have ordered a card reader/writer form a source on eBay, which will arrive soon and I will atempt to format the CF cards on my PC using the windows FAT32 formating tool, the Dell PDA will not allow me to do a fromat on the CF card from the PC while the card is in the PDA, pity.I understand the problem could quite easily be with the D200 and not the cards, but, first I will format the CF cards using the card reader/writer.Then what what if this still does not work, well I will take the battery out of the D200, switch it "ON" with the battery out and leave the internal battery to discharge until I lose all the camera settings.
