If i set the flash on A and the camera on A (aperature) it works fine, but if the camera is set to s (shutter priority) again the picture is blown out!!!just doesnt make sense!!!! Jim Gifford, Apr 11, 2005; 04:20 p.m. << If i set the flash on A and the camera on A (aperature) it works fine, but if the camera is set to s (shutter priority) again the picture is blown out!!!just doesnt make sense!!!!>> Well, it does make some sense. When you set the camera on shutter priority it tries to select an aperture that will give you a good exposure WITHOUT flash, but then you pour the flash in on top of that, and voila, overexposure. You need to control the lens aperture yourself, to make sure it corresponds with the flash power output setting, whether you use (M)anual flash control or (A)uto mode flash control on the SB-80. So use manual exposure or aperture priority exposure on the D70 body while you're firing that SB--80 up top. Be well, angela wallace, Apr 15, 2005; 10:48 a.m. thank you so much. all those answers really help S
