Nikon Err Message
at the panel and it displays a flashing "F--". It happened once in October, then nikon d7000 error codes a week ago, and again just now. The manual says the error means either: No lens attached, or Non-CPU lens attached. The first nikon d750 error message time it went away after turning the camera on and off a few times. The second time it just eventually went away.Today I tried loosening and re"clicking" the lens, to no avail. I then detached and reattached the lens https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/29816766 and it worked. I've looked at the connectors, and they look OK to my untrained eye. I'll contact Nikon, but any ideas/other things I should try? It seems that if the lens becomes loose even by a very very slight amount the camera has a winge. I just turn it off, tighten the lens by turning it then it's fine after I turn it back on. I'll give the alcohol some thought (I'm somewhat apprehensive to do it though; I'm paranoid enough about letting dust into the body, let alone risk dropping a cotton bud in there! :-) Wardy_1, do you have to detach the lens and reattach it? Or just disengage the lock, twist one way, and twist back to reengage? Mine only worked after taking the lens right off; I really don't want to do that unless I'm actually changing lenses! Anyone else had this problem occur? Anyone else had this problem occur? Not me. IMO, since it's under warranty, I'd just go to Nikon and let them figure it out. User #30916 3873 posts -=Crowboy=- Whirlpool Forums Addict refere
