While you may have entered one correctly, maybe your code isn't generating the request the way you think it is..?? You cannot use live cards or live PayPal accounts to test in Sandbox. Some errors are dependent on your form so additional troubleshooting may be necessary. 1.Error processing payment: User authentication failed In Setting > PayFlow Pro, confirm the Account Information matches what is in your PayFlow Pro Account. To find your PayPal Payflow Pro account information, log in to your PayPal Payflow Pro account and click on Account Administration > Manage Users and then click on the user login link. You should find your Partner, User and Vendor login info there. PayFlow Pro is set to test mode which only functions on PayPal Developer accounts. If you are not using a Developer account, you will need to switch the integration to ON and submit the form 2. Error: Failed insufficient permissions to perform transaction PayFlow Pro is set to test mode which only functions on PayPal Developer accounts. The PayFlow Pro User does not have sufficient rights. In your PayPal Manager (PayFlow) account, go into Administration> Users and set theuser to API Full Access permissions. 3. Transaction not Permitted - Card The transaction is being declined because of an invalid credit card number or suspected laud. You will need to reach out to PayPal to confirm the reason why. In Settings > PayFlow Pro, make sure the Credit Card information section is correctly mapped to the specific field within your form. The card might be declining because of a leading zero in the CVC while using the Number field. To prevent leading zeros from dropping, you will need to switch to a Short Answer field.
