Small box with "ok" on it that you must http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/120908-error-loading-3lxcgtimedll/ click to continue. I've cleaned up my startup applications under msconfig, so I really do not know what this error could be from (the error began long before I cleaned up the startup). Any suggestions for me? I've run spyware and virus checks and its all clean according to them. It's annoying, but doesn't seem to effect anything. I'm running on Windows XP. Thank you! 0 Advertisements #2 wannabe1 Posted 08 July 2006 - 05:38 PM wannabe1 Tech Staff Technician 16,645 posts Hi pctrouble...There's a good chance this is malware. Please go to the Malware Forum and follow the instructions found there. That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself...then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum. Report • #1 Tubesandwires August 22, 2011 at 21:55:40 LXCFtime.dll is a file for a Lexmark printer.Apparently the installation of the software for the printer is buggy and produces the error you're getting.I found the solution for Vista - similar should work for XP (you get a similar error in XP).He says un-installing the Lexmark software and installing it (the same software) again doesn't fix the problem. "The problem is with this software's behavior at START UP...."(In Vista or Windows 7)"To edit Services right click on Computer, left click Manage and select Services." (In XP)Go toControl Panel - Classic view - Administrative Tools - Services"Find the Lexmark service in the list, double click and set it to Manual, then Stop service. This tells the computer to only start up the Lexmark software when you need to print, which is exactly as it should be ...."...........If that doesn't fix the problem there is another way of fixing it.
