Are you using a Custom Workflow? Do you have SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) in your environment by any chance? Below is a link to a KB983307 that is tied to an event like this, but it is linked to SSRS. Have you looked into the ULS logs? If you are using a custom workflow, then maybe you should consider opening a support case with our SharePoint Dev team to have them review your code… ? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/983307/en-usReagrds, Hiran Microsoft Online Community Support Monday, August 02, 2010 1:00 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Hi Can any one help in resolving this error. My code http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1500865/error-loading-and-running-event-receiver-microsoft-sharepoint-workflow-spworkflo is very close to this example: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/sharepoint/MOSS%5FFolderContentTypeWF.aspx I used WSPBuilder in the past but not for this project and it seems to have broken my workflow somehow. My workflow doesn't start even though it should and when I look in the event logs I see the following error: Error loading and running event receiver Microsoft.SharePoint.Workflow.SPWorkflowAutostartEventReceiver in Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c. Additional information is below. : The object specified does not belong to a list. So I disabled my event handler and even removed it and the error still happens for this document library. The error isn't generated on other site's doc libraries. Did I break an event receiver in the guts of SharePoint? but the workflow was not getting started and I got the following Error message in the Event viewer. "Application Event:Event Type:ErrorEvent Source:Windows SharePoint Services 3Event Category:General Event ID:6875Date:2/10/2011Time:4:36:25 PMUser:N/AComputer:DJDescription:Error loading and running event http://aurramu.blogspot.com/2011/02/event-id-6875-for-sharepoint-workflow.html receiver Microsoft.SharePoint.Workflow.SPWorkflowAutostartEventReceiver in Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c. Additional information is below. : The Web application at http://test/general/vacations/peabody could not be found. Verify that you have typed the URL correctly. If the URL should http://www.dotnetprodigy.com/2007/12/moss-2007-event-receiver-error.html be serving existing content, the system administrator may need to add a new request URL mapping to the intended application. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp." RESOLUTION: I Found error loading the cause for my case that we have changed default zone url from http://test/ to http://aurramu.blogspot.com/ in the Central Admin. So the workflow not able to recognize the host name URL(http://test/ ). So I have added the host header in the IIS(added host header value of aurramu.blogspot.com in IIS), Host name in the Host file and Disable the Loop Back check on the sharepoint. Now the workflow error loading and is working very well.
