Astsvcc.dll is a type of DLL file associated with Cognizance Identity and Access Management developed by Cognizance Corporation for the Windows Operating System. The latest known version of Astsvcc.dll is 1.0.0.8, which was produced for Windows XP. This DLL file carries a popularity rating of 1 stars and a security rating of "UNKNOWN". What Are DLL Files? DLL ("dynamic link library") files such as astsvcc.dll are small programs, similar to EXE ("executable") files, which allow multiple software programs to share the same functionality (eg. printing). For example, let's say you are running Windows XP and editing a document in Microsoft Word. The DLL file that controls printing does not need to load unless it's function is needed - eg. you decide to print your document. When you select "Print", Microsoft Word calls the printer DLL file, and it is loaded into memory (RAM) at that time. If you want to print a document in another program, Adobe Acrobat for example, that same printer DLL file will be used as well. Why Do I Have DLL Errors? Because they are shared files, DLL files exist outside of the software application itself. Although this provides many benefits for software developers, this separation also provides an opportunity for problems to occur.Quite simply, if Windows cannot properly load your astsvcc.dll file, you will encounter an error message. It's unbelievably slow, and when I start up, there are four (yes, FOUR) error messages. First error message: RUNDLL Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\susuposo.dll The specified http://www.solvusoft.com/en/files/missing-not-found-error/dll/windows/cognizance-corporation/cognizance-identity-and-access-management/astsvcc-dll/ module could not be found. Second error message: RUNDLL Error loading c:\PROGRA~1\HEWLET~1\IAM\Bin\ASTSVCC.dll Third error message: SoundMAX Your audio hardware configuration has changed. You must re-install SoundMAX. The fourth error message has something to do with HP Quick Launch buttons. I accidentally closed out of the message before I could write down exactly what it said, and didn't necessarliy feel like rebooting again. It takes a really long time to restart. https://forums.techguy.org/threads/rundll-and-other-startup-issues.775726/ But it said something about a failure to open, and to click OK to debug and CANCEL to exit, I think. If I click OK and CANCEL have the same outcome, though; it attempts to load, but then says an error has occured and HP quick launch buttons must close. Then the "report this error" message. (as a Windows user, that's nothing new...). This all happens EVERY TIME on startup. Then, there's there the websites that keep popping up every 5-10 minutes. "precata.com", "pantomi.com", and others. Windows then tells me that the website has been reported as unsafe, and that it is recommend I do not continue to the site. That, or IE says the web site cannot be displayed. It's incredibly annoying. I went in to the Temp file and tried to delete, but couldn't, because it was "in use". So I download a program called Unlocker to delete it. It works, but it doesn't take too long for it to come back again. I've done an infinite amount of scans with an infinite amount of anti-virus crap. AVG free, Spybot, Ad Aware, so on and so forth. They seem to find trojan viruses, or whatever they are (trojan something), and seem to heal
