If you didn't install it, it must be malware of some sort. Try running a scan with your antivirus/malware remover. Spybot or AVG should suffice if you don't already have one. ------------------- quote quick quote harvestbmg Imma gonna jump of dis clfif now, ultra seeker total posts: 1325neopoints: 20since: Sep 2007 Aug 18, 10 at 5:37am ^ re: Error Loading C:\PROGRA~2\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\F3SCRCTR.Dll Actually, now that I tAnswers Home All Categories Arts & Humanities Beauty & Style Business & Finance Cars & Transportation Computers & Internet Consumer Electronics Dining Out Education & Reference Entertainment & Music Environment Family & Relationships Food & Drink Games & Recreation Health Home & Garden Local Businesses News & Events Pets Politics & Government Pregnancy & Parenting Science & Mathematics Social Science Society & Culture Sports Travel Yahoo Products International Argentina Australia Brazil Canada France Germany India Indonesia Italy Malaysia Mexico New Zealand Philippines Quebec Singapore Taiwan Hong Kong Spain Thailand UK & Ireland Vietnam Espanol About About Answers Community Guidelines Leaderboard Knowledge Partners Points & Levels Blog Safety Tips Computers & Internet http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/17/t1567807-error-loading-progra-2-mywebs-1-bar-1-bin-f3scrctr-dll/ Software Next Error loading c:\progra~2\mywebs~1\bar\1.bin... plugin.dll, I need help? First answer posted by JGebauer at 03/02/2012 02:20 Add Your Answer 10~1000 characters in length CAPTCHA: Post without login 5 Answers JGebauer he file belongs to the MyWebSearch Toolbar which is malware. Either you uninstalled the malware program or your antivirus/antispyware program did. In any case, a reference was left to the file in Startup. You can remove the reference by managing your Startup. Because you had one piece of malware, the chances are also high that you had others. It would be a good idea to scan. I recommend downloading and installing MalwareBytes' Antimalware (MBAM).The program is free. (There is a paid version but you don't need to buy it to remove malware.) Manage Startup: (for XP) Start>Run>msconfig [enter] This brings up the System Configuration Utility. Look on the Startup tab and find the probable culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, Apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but the next time you do you'll get a dialog saying you've used the Utility. Just tick the box that says in effect, "don't bother me about this again". Was this answer helpful? 00 · 03/02/2012 02:20 Kimplex Same issue here. I thought it was malware and had done a scan with 0 malware finds; my antivirus/antispyware must have removed the MyWebSearch toolbar malware and left this behind. Now I can get rid of this irritant that appears on start up. Just finished following your instructions and everything is fixed. thanks Was this answer helpful? 00 · 03/02/2012 02:21 Anonymous user RUNDLLC:\PRGRAM~1\MYWEBS~1\bAR\1.bin\f3SCRCTR.DLL Was this answer helpful? 00 · 07/19/2012 14:45 Anonymous user web page cant find Was this answer helpful? 00 · 10/06/2012 14:56 Anonymous user error loading c://Progra~1\MYWEB~1\bar\1.bin\F3SCRCTR.dll specified module could not found in a rundll box when computer is first started Was this answer helpful? 00 · 11/09/2012 06:58 Add Your Answer 10~1000 characters in length CAPTCHA: Post without login 0 people are following Ask a question now Write a title for your question More Hot Questions How to format my computer without the windows CD? how to fix error message the ordinal 423 could not be located in the dynamic link library urlmon.dll?
