(Only I use it, 1 account on laptop, password) The desktop turns all white and this shows up, "error loading C:\Program Files (x86)\Nos\bin\getPlus_Helper.dll TheSpecified module could not be found." I press ok and everything is back to normal. I googled this error and it has something to do with Firefox? I.e http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-performance/error-loading-cprogram-filesnosbingetplushelperdll/2825f518-c998-4881-8ed9-9bee74b0ec57 Windows Vista to Windows 7? If so, it may be that a program that worked on your previous version of Windows no longer works on this version. I'm not sure what the error actually means. It may have something to do with a firefox add-on, you should be able to open My Computer and search that query into the search box. -SuperToast-, Nov 8, 2009 #2 bengalsjim Joined: Nov 1, 2009 Messages: 29 If it's Firefox, then just reinstall it. That should resolve the problem. https://forums.techguy.org/threads/solved-start-up-error.875621/ You can run MSConfig from the search box when you click on the Start button. From there you can see what starts when you boot. You can disable any of the start-up programs and see if you still have the problem. This can help to narrow things down. The error went away after I restarted, used tune up and Regdefense to fix it, I think. Look at my other posts though please I need help with those. This is solved. Also is your system a 64bit?I would go to Add/Remove and Remove DLM(Download Manager) and getplus if it is listed. This has been causing problems since it hasn't been disconnecting. Then Using IE, see if there is any add on get_atlcom Class or any entry of getplus. Are you using the Administrator account? Thanks, eidnolb 1 person found this helpful Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2.
