Bad ImageThe application or DLL c:\windows\system32\calc.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette. Then I get:Error Loading C:\windows\system32\calc.dll %1 is not a valid Win 32 applicationRunning Windows XPLaunching some URLs I get redirected to other sites. At least once a day I run either Spybot S&D and/or malewarebytes and each time I'm still finding other issues/fixes that I promptly have removed. Nither seems to remove the above mentioned issue. I've also used Spyhunter and adaware. Primarily I feel like this calc.dll may be the source of my problem, but I'm not sure. 11 Nov 2009, 2:03 pmOk well at first I couldnt get past the BIOS screen and I was told to remove battery http://www.geekpolice.net/t15908-malware-possibly-sysdircalc-dll on motherboard to reset BIOS. So I did http://hardwarefault.in/Os-Error-C-Windows-System32-Calc.Dll-Is-Not-A-Valid-Windows-Image~JVRGv8yc38FqhjUmz25daYSG5aAZ7HIdnPN5uOyGiuc=.html that and I got to the desk top very slowly. When the desktop came up a bunch of windows with safety center on them. When that finally stopped I was givin errors that read:the application or error loading DLL c:windows\system32\calc.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation. So I clicked ok and it gives me : error loading c:windows\system32\calc.dll % 1 is not a valid win32 application. I was told to go to task manager and go to error loading c processes and try to find s_loader.exe but I couldnt find it in the list. Then I was told to download hijack and post log. But when I finally got the hijack loaded by using a usb stick it will not complete the scan and produce a log, it keeps freezing up the computer and I cannot continue anything.
