Click this balloon to fix the problem. so I do but it wont let me turn updates on. I have tried doing a system restore but there are no restore points in bold to click on.... I have never seen that before??!! I have also run windows defender and norton and no problems are found. Can anyone help?? Kind regards, David. davido-23, Jun 28, 2008 #1 Sponsor simelwill Joined: Jun 4, 2006 Messages: 84 not too sure but have you tried sfc /scannow? (Click start, run type sfc /scannow) make sure you have your windows cd in the drive as it will be needed to copy the original files back to your windows folder. simelwill, Jun 28, 2008 #2 davido-23 Thread Starter Joined: Feb 27, 2008 Messages: 264 Hi! If you believe your computer is infected, but are unsure which files should be submitted to McAfee Labs for review, please visit: http://vil.mcafeesecurity.com/vil/submit-sample.aspx For other virus-related information, please review McAfee Labs' homepage at: http://www.mcafee.com/us/threat_center/default.asp ThanksNeha Like Show 0 Likes(0) Ac
