When I run the AE program, it executed successfully, but an error is poping up at the log file as follows: Instance must exist to set property {BOOK_CI.CW_LIBRARY_BQUANTY} (91,14) Instance must exist to set property {BOOK_CI.CW_LIBRARY_STATUS} (91,14) Instance must exist to set property {BOOK_CI.CW_LIBRARY_PUBID} (91,14) Instance must exist to set property {BOOK_CI.CW_LIBRARY_CATEGRY} (91,14) Instance must exist to set property {BOOK_CI.CW_LIBRARY_ISBN} (91,14) Instance must exist to set property {BOOK_CI.CW_LIBRARY_AUTID} (91,14) Application Engine program BOOK_CI ended normally. Here 'BOOK_CI' is the Component Interface name and 'CW_LIBRARY_PUBID' is the record field name. The Data is been updated to the record at database. Iam nt able to understand, Y this error message at log is poping up. I have checked with the Component Interface properties, methods, keys etc., can anyone kindly tell me the solution for this error. I have changed the AE step above the people code action to on Error Ignore. According to the documentation it should skip any errors within the process and continue, however it is still crashing out. Any ideas why this doesn't work and is there a way I can monitor any errors coming from the Comp Interface so that the process will continue? Thanks. richard.price@piedmontng.comCan you send us the code? Does the code have any MessageBox statements in it that display a message marked as warning or error? Thanks, Richard S. All kinds of things can make this property effectively irrelevant. What you want to do and how to get there depends on what you're doing - so we need more information to give a useful suggestion.
