I recently got a ePSXe ISO but when I go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0Wb2fd99aE run-ISO on my ePSXe it has an error loading the isofile. I don't know if this is a factor but it is a FFVII ISO and it is the last part of the Disc 1 file-set, would I need the other files or not? I downloaded as a .rar file and it extracted just fine. This is a possibility in your case. You could try un-RARing the files again to see if it simply unRAR-ed badly. If it is an ISO file, you don't need other ISO files to make it work. Also, the ISO should be right around 700 MB. If not, then I would be suspicious that it is a virus or something. Try running another game with ePSXe to make sure it's not the program's fault.
