CF9.0.2 and CF10 both use Java 6 version 1.6.0_29.HTH, Carl. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: JVM Path - Error loading jvm.dll carl type3 Aug 21, 2012 8:52 PM (in response

This won't work. But you can try to create the java code (with idl2java) with a 32Bit JVM and compile it with a 64Bit JDK. share|improve this answer answered Dec 5 '12 at 12:32 tuergeist 4,67012448 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service. I just uninstalled the jdk and did a fresh install from web to make sure that I installed the 64-bit version of jdk. This resolved the issue. Hope this helps
when you are installing a software that requires java present on your system or when you check for the installation of java on your system by the command ‘java -version' on your command prompt. The following can be the reason(s) for this problem: Go to ‘My Computer' -> (right click) Properties -> Advanced (tab) -> Environment Variables (button) -> (Select) Java_Home from User Variables. Check if this variable's value is pointing to the proper location of where the jdk was installed. For example: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_05 Go to ‘My Computer' -> (right click) Properties -> Advanced (tab) -> System Variables (button) -> (Select) Path variable from System Variables. Check if this variable's value is pointing to the proper location of the bin folder inside the jdk folder of the java installation. For example: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_05\bin Go to ‘C:\Program Files\Java' directory and see if there is a JRE directory present inside. If yes then that means you have installed only the JRE, where as you need JDK. If you do find both the folders (JDK and JRE) present inside the Java directory, that means your system java is pointing to the JRE folder and its unable to find the jvm.dll file. To fix this, install the version of JDK that you require in your system and check the above steps 1 & 2.
