Did find: /Library/InputManagers/Ecamm/Ecamm Plugin Loader.bundle/Contents/MacOS/Ecamm Plugin Loader: mach-o, but wrong architecture I get this exact message for various PIDs including Mail, icalHelper, Console, http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/error-loading-library-inputmanagers-simbl.764341/ firefox-bin, Terminal, whenever they are opened Tried rebooting and repairing permissions. Tried googling and noticed a lot of messages regarding "Ecamm Plugin" but none of them seem to reveal anything specific. I've never installed anything from Ecamm, if that's what it's in reference to. This is a 1 month old macbook running 10.5.6. Everything runs fines so it's more of a nuisance right now. http://forums.macresource.com/read.php?1,668465 when I look at /Library/InputManagers/Ecamm/Ecamm Plugin Loader.bundle/Contents/MacOS I see the following files: ls -la total 40 drwxr-xr-x 3 root admin 102 Apr 16 2005 . drwxr-xr-x 4 root admin 136 Apr 16 2005 .. -rwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 17604 Apr 16 2005 Ecamm Plugin Loader Any ideas what to try next? Would an Apple Genius be able to figure it out? Options: Reply• Quote Re: Console Message: Error loading /Library/InputManagers/Ecamm/Ecamm Plugin Posted by: Doc Date: February 11, 2009 10:39PM It's a video driver for generic video/web cameras. Dunno how it got there, but if it's causing trouble then just delete the Ecamm folder from /Library/Input Managers. Because input managers can/will patch the running code of every Cocoa app and can thus cause havoc across nearly every app on your computer, nothing should be in /Library/Input Managers or ~/Library/Input Managers unless you know exactly what it is and have made an informed decision for it to be there.
