it installs first the plain R65 console and then apparently a "messaging Security" patch (or something). He started to analyze what was different between his perfectly working laptops and their local machines and concluded the only difference was he had installed first the R65 HFA01 console and then the Messaging Security one, which apparently does not overwrite the first installation, so he did it that way and the problem disappeared. Thanks to all for your answers. I am able to login via WEBUI and telnet into the box. But can't seem to understand why SmartDashboard is not working, keeps giving me a Error Loading Objects! error and shuts down. Thought it might be something that needs to enabled via telnet. The unit is NEW and I was trying to configure it via https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23451313/SmartDashboard-Error-Loading-Objects-Unable-to-login.html GUI instead of CL. 0 Question by:llib21 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Best Solution byllib21 I was able to load the SmartDashboard once the software was loaded directly from the appliance. Have you added the ip address of your client pc to the gui-clients? You're using the same version of SmartDashboard as the firewall version? 32bit client os? Lars 0 Message Author Comment by:llib212008-06-03 This is a new box. The rules are not configured yet. Tried loading the Smart Console from the box while doing the First Time Configuration. It did not load on the XP machine so I loaded the Smart Console from CD onto XP machine, two of them. Still did not connect. I thought it was the PC but as you pointed out the SmartDashboard Version could be different. Checkpoint must have made a mistake on sending me a version on cd that is different from the firewall. The GUI-Clients is set to any. I was able to load the SmartConsole on Vista ma
Smart CenterServer Filed under: checkpoint — 3 Comments November 14, 2010 If you ever jump in to this Checkpoint issue with an error message that looks like this: The connection has https://riosibuea.wordpress.com/2010/11/14/smart-dashboard-unable-to-login-to-smart-center-server/ been refused due to one of following SmartCenter Server certificate problems: 1. The SmartCenter http://www.firedrakeproject.org/checkpointing.html Server's clock is not setup properly. 2. The certificate's issue date is later than the date of the SmartCentre Server's clock. 3. The Gui Client's clock and the SmartCenter Server's clock are not synchronized. 4. The certificate has expired. 5. The certificate is invalid. Here is the steps on how to remedy it: Switch directories: cd error loading $CPDIR/conf or C:/program files/checkpoint/cpshared/R??/conf Backup and remove the sic_cert.p12 file: cp sic_cert.p12 sic_cert.p12old rm sic_cert.p12 Revoke the certificate from the SmartCenter’s Objects file: cpca_client revoke_cert -n "CN=cp_mgmt" Recreate a brand new sic cert for the SmartCenter: cpca_client create_cert -n "CN=cp_mgmt" -f sic_cert.p12 Restart the Check Point processes: cpstop cpstart There would a warning saying that if you would trust the certificate. This is normal since the certificate is new. checkpoint Writing attributes Support for multiple timesteps Inspecting available time levels Support for multiple on-disk files Implementation details Checkpointing state¶ In addition to the ability to write field data to vtu files, suitable for visualisation in Paraview, Firedrake has some support for checkpointing state to disk. This enables pausing, and subsequently resuming, a simulation at a later time. Restrictions on checkpointing¶ The current support for checkpointing is somewhat limited. One may only store Functions in the checkpoint object. Moreover, no remapping of data is performed. This means that resuming the checkpoint is only possible on the same number of processes as used to create the checkpoint file. Additionally, the same Mesh must be used: that is a Mesh constructed identically to the mesh used to generate the saved checkpoint state. Note In the future, this restriction will be lifted and Firedrake will be able to store and resume checkpoints on different number of processes, as long as the mesh topology remains unchanged. Creating and using checkpoint files¶ Opening a checkpoint¶ A checkpoint file is created using the DumbCheckpoint constructor. We pass a filename argument, and an access mode. Available modes are: FILE_READ Open the checkpoint file for reading. Raises OSError if the file does not already exist. FILE_CREATE Open the checkpoint file for reading and writing, creating the file if it does not exist, and erasing any existing contents if it does. FILE_UPDATE Open the checkpoint file for reading and writing, creating it if it does not exist, without erasing any existing contents. For example, to open a checkpoint file for writing solution state, truncating any existing contents we use: chk = DumbCheckpoint("dump", mode=FILE_WRITE) note how we only provide the base name of the on-disk file, ".h5" is appended automatically. Storing data¶ Once a checkpoint file is opened, Function data can be stored in the checkpoint using store(). A Function is referenced in the checkpoint file by its name(), but this may be overridden by explicitly passing an optional name argument. For example, to store a Function using its default name use: f = Function(V, name="foo") chk.store(f) If instead we want to override the name we use: chk.store(f, name="bar") Warning No
